MILAN — Minimal, dewy skin and a wet-look eye were the key concepts created by makeup artist Lucia Pieroni at Alberta Ferretti.

Using all MAC Cosmetics, she shadowed eyes with Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Groundwork and dusted in a mix of April in Paris and Cultivating Chic.

Rose Washed Glitter eyeliner was worked into eyelids. "It reflects light and gives a wet, dewy feel like when you're in a hot climate, and it's a way to get a greasy feeling without adding grease," said Pieroni.

Skin was prepped with Studio Finish Concealer and Prep and Prime Skin Smoother. Sculpting across the nose, forehead, cheekbones and chin was etched with Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Groundwork and highlighted with Have a Lovely Day Lip and Cheek Colour.

Lips were patted with concealer-dipped fingers and tissue-blotted.

Hairstylist Guido Palau matched a soft, simple braid to Alberta Ferretti's folkloric collection. Damp hair was loaded with Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam and scrunch-dried with a diffuser. A one-inch curling iron was wound with curls to add volume to the hairline, gathered into a messy center part and pulled into a braid. To finish, wispy strands were pulled loose for a “peasant-inspired, pretty and romantic" look, Palau said.
