Structured, graphic locks led the look at Givenchy. Hairstylist Luigi Murenu wanted models to have strikingly different textures and shapes. “Think New Wave, with crisp edges and graphic patterns. Or modern Gothic, if you wish,” he said.
After blow-drying, long hairpieces were added to thicken tresses, together with Kérastase Nutritive Mousse. Then Murenu slicked hair from the forehead to the crown with Kiehl’s Clean Hold Styling Gel, giving the section a flat, wet finish. From the crown down, he crimped locks and left them matte. A cloud of Elnett Satin Hairspray held everything in place.
For makeup, Tom Pecheux chose a toned-down face with no focus. “It’s very Givenchy. Skin is pale and matte, lips are neutral,” he said backstage. Pecheux lightened brows to open up the look, then added a pale, pearl gray shadow from MAC called Scene.
