Gillian Gorman has joined the Lancôme division of L’Oréal USA as senior vice president of marketing, succeeding Cheryl Vitali, who transferred to Kiehl’s International as general manager.

Since 2006, Gorman has been vice president of marketing in the U.S. for Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, which was acquired by L’Oréal in 2009. Gorman was responsible for the strategic direction of the marketing, education and integrated marketing communications departments.
She began her beauty industry career with the L’Oréal Professional Products Division in the U.K. in 1999 and moved to Lancôme U.K. in 2003, then to Biotherm a year later. Gorman joined YSL Beauté in 2005 as the U.K.’s marketing director for fragrance, makeup and skin care. She then was promoted to the U.S. post at YSL before being tapped for the Lancôme position.
