The Grooming Lounge is poised to unveil a hair care line as it puts the finishing touches on a new-look line of retail products.

The Washington, D.C.-based barbershop, which markets a line of shaving products, plans to launch a shampoo, conditioner and three styling aids in early March.

Plans call for the items, which were in part created for use in Grooming Lounge locations, to be distributed there and on the firm's Web site, groominglounge.com.

The five-item line ranges in price from $18 to $25. The thickening shampoo and conditioner are both 11.6 oz. and priced at $20.

Industry sources estimate the new products, as well as a new store the company opened in Atlanta, will bring sales at the firm to $8 million this year, up from $5 million last year.
