PARIS — For the Valentino couture show, hairstylist Guido Palau twisted models’ tresses low at the back of their heads.

“It’s very clean, all over the ears, operatic — a classic Valentino woman,” he said.

To help get the look, Palau used Redken Thickening Lotion and Workforce 12.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath added “a bit of light and shade on [models’ eyelids], mascara at the roots and a slight blush. These are very simple, very serene beauties.”
