MILAN — Hairstylist Guido Palau and makeup artist Pat McGrath went for the quintessential Versace girl — glamorous and intense.

McGrath began by grooming skin and eyebrows. Eyelids were brushed with highlights; fitted with two pairs of faux eyelashes; and filled in with black liquid liner between the lash line. Lips were traced in beige lip liner and filled in with lipstick of the same color, then topped with clear gloss.

Palau created a “high maintenance woman with glamorous hair” through a long, straight style crowned with a “slightly Sixties-inspired” lift.

Using Redken products, Palau coated damp hair with Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer before a stick-straight blow-out was sealed with a natural bristle brush. Hair extensions were added to boost overall volume.

Crown volume was achieved through a side parting, which was sprayed with Guts 10, blow-dried and teased into a small pouf. A blast of Forceful 23 finished the look.
