Inspired by a portrait of a woman, Lucia Pica for MAC Cosmetics created balmy, holographic skin at Ohne Titel.

Mixing Luna Cream Color Base with moisturizer, Pica applied it to the high planes of the face. Then, she used Luna Cream Color Base mixed with Lip Conditioner and blended it all over the eye. Again, with the Cream Color Base in Ground Breaking, Pica used a fluffy brush blending it from the inner corners out. To finish the eyes, Black Track Fluid Line was drawn thinly. Lips were topped with Diva Lipstick mixed with Matte Texture.

When Bumble and bumble’s Jordan M met with the designer, she gave him a piece of waxed Japanese melted ironed fur and said that was the inspiration for the hair.

“I came up with this feather idea and we painted and distressed them.” said M. “I’ve grated them to the side of the head and have pinned them.” Before pinning in the pieces, M applied Bumble and bumble Styling Cream. Using Semi Sumo Wax, he rubbed it on wet hair and blow-dried it all back. Down the side, he fashioned thin braids and pinned the feathers into them. “It works well with clothes,” he said. “They’re all very textural.”

Keri Blair for MAC Cosmetics created a matte nail with three different colorways. To reference the textures used in the collection, Blair used silver Mylar tape outlining the nail.
