Dick Page, working for Shiseido, emphasized the eyes at Michael Kors. First, he used two cream shadows in champagne and pink on the eyelids as a base, then added black cream liner at the lashlines on both top and bottom. He then swept Shiseido’s GR 222, a soft aqua shadow, all over the lids, following up with PR 399, an amethyst shade, over that for emphasis. Page added GD 824, a gold shadow, in the inner corner of the eyes. He then dampened an eye shadow brush and lined under the eyes with the amethyst shadow and applied lots of black mascara. The face was finished with transparent loose powder and two highlighting powders — in gold and white, mixed together; bronzer under the cheekbone for definition, and Shiseido’s Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer lipcolor in Pout, a soft rose.

Orlando Pita, working with Moroccanoil at the show, kept hair simple, using gel to slick hair back off the face and adding a clear plastic headband, meant to coordinate with similar inserts in some of the clothing.
