PARIS — “The look is an intellectual girl,” hairstylist James Pecis said backstage before the Chloé show, adding: “This is still in line with the Chloé girl, where there has to be an ease to it.”
He fashioned a center part in models’ hair, which he straightened with a flat iron. Key products used included Tigi Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray and Elnett hairspray.
Diane Kendal, working with MAC Cosmetics, explained she primed makeup on the models’ faces and then removed it with moisturizer “so we get that beautiful residue left.” Kendal added it gives a “really glowing, luminous feel.”
Lashes were curled and eyebrows brushed and filled in where needed. A bronze cream color was applied to the apple of models’ cheeks.
