PARIS — “The look is loose and sexy,” said hairstylist Guido Palau, who spun low ponytails into soft chignons with a few wispy strands backstage at Nina Ricci.
“There’s something very Edwardian and Seventies. It’s very feminine,” he added. Palau used Redken thickening lotion to obtain the look.
Meanwhile, makeup artist Pat McGrath channeled the Nina Ricci fashion collection’s joie de vivre by applying shocking pink eye shadow on to models’ peepers.
