NEW YORK — The Estée Lauder Cos.’ BeautyBank division is Flirting with a new guest creator.

Actress Mila Kunis, perhaps best-known for her role on Fox’s “That 70s Show,” will assume the role from singer Michelle Branch in February.

Each season, the color cosmetics brand — which hit Kohl’s doors in October and has also been sold at Bergdorf Goodman — chooses a celebrity to headline that season’s collection.  Guest creators may work on new colors, new products, accessories or an entire collection.

“We though Mila had the perfect vibe for Flirt,” said Jane Lauder, vice president of marketing for the Flirt and American Beauty lines at BeautyBank. “She’s cool, hip and up-and-coming — she isn’t overexposed. She’s a great representative of the brand.”

Kunis’ collection, “Go Go Glamour,” will include two compacts — “Dance Fever,” a palette with dramatic magentas and plums most suitable for evening, and “La-La Land,” a palette of nudes and pinks for daytime wear. Each limited-edition compact will retail for $25, and both will be available in select Kohl’s doors as well as on kohls.com. Lauder noted that the palettes were inspired both by vintage — a natural, given Kunis’ show — as well as the spring 2005 ready-to-wear collections. “We wanted to offer customers easily achievable looks, which these colors do,” said Lauder.

Lauder noted that the BeautyBank brands would enter another 300 doors by March, taking the brands’ total U.S. distribution to about 600 doors by the end of March.

“I wanted my collection to truly capture my personality,” said Kunis in a statement.  “Creating a retro look with bold graphic prints and vivid colors was the perfect way for me to express myself, plus I think my colors are trendy.”
