NEW YORK — Lancôme has named Odile Roujol deputy general manager of its international business, based in Paris.
Roujol is a nine-year veteran of L’Oréal SA, Lancôme’s parent. She is currently deputy general manager-senior vice president of marketing for Lancôme USA and will assume her new role on Feb. 15 in France.
Back in the U.S., Roujol — who has been with the U.S. division since February 2003 — will be succeeded by Nina White, who was formerly senior vice president of marketing for L’Oréal USA.
As deputy general manager of Lancôme International, Roujol will assume all responsibility for the international direction of the brand, including product development, execution and marketing in key markets, including the U.S., Japan and Europe. In addition, she will determine advertising strategies for the brand globally. She will report to Marc Dubrule, the director general of Lancôme International.
Immediately prior to her U.S. role, Roujol was general manager of Lancôme France.
