PARIS — The beauty look at Issey Miyake took a cue from the fashion collection’s morphing line theme.

Makeup artist Lucia Pieroni created “very simple, pure faces” using a smidgen of white highlight on the eyes. “I wanted them to look quite ethereal, kind of slightly angelic,” she said of the models.

Hairstylist Eugene Souleiman channeled the line idea into two ponytail styles.

The aim was “to change the shape of the head with a ponytail.” So he crafted a ponytail over a second one to make a conical head shape.

Souleiman also integrated a small, uplifted panel of hair. For this latter look, part of the coif was painted with white makeup.
