LONDON — Lips were the makeup focus, in Ruby Woo and Lady Danger. As the clothes were so heavily embellished, Garland explained that it was important to focus on “reflective skin” — via Mineralized Foundation and a slick of gloss on eyelids — and a “sharp mouth.”
Hairstylist Anthony Turner tucked models’ locks into the designer’s high collars for a look that was “very romantic, soft and a little surreal.”
For looks that didn’t involve a collar, Turner created a temporary cardboard version to simulate an indentation a collar might produce on the back of the hair.
He used L’Oréal Professional Pli setting lotion to lock in the look and infinitum hair spray to finish.
