PARIS — At Giorgio Armani Privé, the beauty look took a cue from the fashion collection, which had a “nomad” inspiration.
The Italian designer “wanted a bit of an Indian maharaja influence,” said makeup artist Linda Cantello. “It was a stronger than usual eye here actually, and it still puts the emphasis on the outside corner.”
Cantello used the label’s makeup, including its yet-to-be launched Eye and Brow Maestro product.
“It’s a straight and strong brow,” she described. Meanwhile, nothing was applied to lips and cheeks had no blush.
“It’s really this kind of mysterious woman,” she continued.
Hairstylist Orlando Pita swept models’ hair up and close to their heads, so it could be tucked under fabric turbans.
