Lisa Eldridge, working with Benefit cosmetics, rattled off her references for the makeup look at Matthew Williamson.
“Very sexy, very glamorous and Studio 54-y — Anjelica Huston meets Bianca Jagger. It’s a very different look for Matthew. Normally, he doesn’t like a lot of makeup, but this season’s girl is very sassy, wearing very fitted shapes in very strong colors — it’s a proper night time going out collection,” she said.
For eyes, she used Bad Girl Waterproof liner pencil with liquid liner over the top to create “a really dense gloss.” For lips, Eldridge mixed together a brown eye pencil and a red gloss to create “the color you’d get if you dipped a black cherry into chocolate!”
Using a combination of Toni & Guy Classic Cool Defining Cream and Shine Gloss Serum, hairstylist Mark Hampton created center-parted hair that was tucked behind the ear into a pony tail secured with elastic wound round and round “to keep it slim and low”.
