MILAN — “Minimal luxury,” said makeup artist Pat McGrath who created the subtle and effortless look for Versace’s fall beauties.
A base of Max Factor’s Xperience Weightless foundation provided the fresh setting for classic rose pink cheeks, illuminated by a highlighter on cheekbones and temples and complemented by a natural lip.
Max Factor’s Weightless mascara was applied to top lashes only, with a beige liner applied inside the eye, and “ultra beautiful eyebrows,” said McGrath referring to the model’s manicured brows.
As an antidote to the overdone ‘ladies who lunch’ look, Redken hairstylist Guido Palau pulled off modern precise tresses.
“It’s Donatella’s take on minimal, it’s very simple, very accurate and very gorgeous,” said Palau backstage who utilized Redken Hot Sets 22 Thermal Setting Mist — a straightening lotion — to achieve pin-straight locks before creating a center parting and taking front pieces and tying them under a ponytail. Shine Flash 02, also from Redken, added a lightweight sheen.
