LONDON — For the beauty look at Giles, makeup artist Lucia Pieroni took her cue from Glen Luchford’s photographs of Nineties supermodels Guinevere van Stam, Ali Horton and Amber Valetta without makeup appearing in old Prada campaigns and the pages of Italian Vogue.

Working with MAC Cosmetics, Pieroni used cream eye shadow in Groundwork across the bridge of models’ noses and on their cheeks, on which was also applied Casual Colour Have a Lovely Day. Eyes were made shiny and lips given a rosebud effect.

Meanwhile, hairstylist Sasha Mascolo was inspired by the movie “Braveheart.” No blow driers were in sight, while models’ locks were sectioned at the bottom and coated with Label.M Resurrection Style Dust. The brand’s Miracle Fibre was applied with fingers to the rest of their tresses, which were then braided by two hairstylists per head.

Marian Newman embellished models’ talons with 150 silver and black Swarovski crystals.
