PARIS — Groupe Clarins has named Joël Palix managing director of Thierry Mugler Mode et Patrimoine, effective today.
He remains managing director of Mugler SA and president of Thierry Mugler Parfums, the role he’s held since last year. In his new post, Palix will implement a global strategy for the development of the Thierry Mugler brand.
As managing director of Thierry Mugler Mode et Patrimoine, he has replaced Perrine Houdoux-Stoclet, who, as reported, left the couture branch to become managing director of Kris Van Assche’s signature men’s and women’s fashion brand, starting June 1.
Palix joined Clarins in 2002 as managing director of Thierry Mugler Parfums. Prior to that, in 1999, he began his own firm, Clust.com, a group e-commerce site, which was sold to Deal Partners. He also has held positions at Trois Suisse, Yves Saint Laurent Parfums and Sanofi Beauty.
