MILAN — “The face is based on the Peter Lindbergh girl,” makeup artist Lucia Pieroni said of the beauty look she created at Moschino. “There’s lots of highlight and shine, a little bit of shading, gorgeous skin and a boyish eyebrow.”
Using MAC Cosmetics, she set skin with Mineralize Moisture SPF15 Foundation. Finger-dabbed highlights were pushed across the tops of the cheekbones and through the center of the face with Pearl Cream Colour Base, and then pressed with Vanilla Pigment Powder. The nose and cheeks got Give Me Sun Mineralize Skinfinish. Brows were filled with a taupe Omega eye shadow and Studio Finish Concealer was brushed onto lips.
In homage to iconic cinema stars with pixie cuts such as Audrey Hepburn, Jean Seberg and Mia Farrow, hairstylist Paul Hanlon knocked out short wigs and added a punk, deconstructed texture. “I really wanted beauty and elegance, but I didn’t want it to feel too classic,” he said.
Wigs were customized and snipped to models’ heads and the hairline was pulled back. Tigi Bed Head Superstar Queen For A Day was used to break up and texturize hair.
