Chic, yet playful served as the inspiration for Altuzarra.
Makeup artist Tom Pecheux working with MAC Cosmetics began by applying Moisturize Rich Foundation and Mineralize Concealer to appear as translucent skin. Pecheux created two different eye looks for the collection. The first featured a moss green glitter on the eyelids with a brass gold liner above the lash line. The second, which was only created on six of the models, included the same as the first, but with bright pink lipstick drawn over the crease in the shape of a banana. To finish, lips were topped with Siss Lipstick. “We needed to add a little touch of playfulness,” he said. “Maybe I will be in the top five worst makeup of the season. Who knows?”
“The idea is to do a chignon that Kate Moss did herself,” said Odile Gilbert for Kérastase. First, Gilbert scrunched Spray à Porter onto damp hair, while simultaneously blow-drying it. She applied Powder Bluff throughout and pulled the hair to the middle of the back of the head with a clear elastic. Then, she twisted the hair and pinned it into place while spraying Laque Dentelle Hairspray.
Michelle Saunders for Essie created a French manicure using Ridge Filling Base Coat and Allure as the tip. “We’re reminding people how beautiful the French manicure is,” she said.
