LONDON Matthew Williamson’s poster girl is the jet-setting glamazon. But she is not suffering from any jet-lag. Instead she looks fresh, cool and polished.

That was the brief given to makeup artist Kristin Piggott. Using Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Foundation, she created a dewy face, keeping the rest as light and natural as possible, notably with soft brown washes over the lids, matte bronze cheeks and beige lips — a mix of Nude Delight and concealer in Soft Honey.

“We wanted it to look as if the girls had been on holidays a couple of months ago,” she said.

This natural feel extended to hair. Duffy, Clairol’s creative color director in the U.K., used Nice N Easy Color Blend Foam to give each girl a richer, warmer sophisticated color, which he then treated with a light blow dry using as little product as possible for a natural effect.
