MILAN — Makeup artist Lucia Pieroni emphasized dewy skin and dark eyes for Missoni’s spring 2014 show.
Using MAC Cosmetics, he began with Face and Body Foundation, followed by Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder dusted down the center of the face. Paint Pot in Groundwork contoured the cheeks.
Eyes were rimmed in Blacktrack Fluid line. “It’s slightly Japanese in its essence and has a rounded-down shape,” explained Pieroni. To finish, Silver Glitter eyeliner was applied with the finger over the lid and brow bone. A nude lip was finger-pressed with Have a Lovely Day.
Hairstylist Eugene Souleiman created a mismatched look via straight blond and black hair extensions clipped to a resin accessory and attached to models’ ponytails.
“It’s imperfect on top with a lot of mess and perfect in the back with a lot of shine,” said Souleiman as he doused hair with Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray.
Side-parted hair was pulled into a ponytail, woven through the accessories clip and secured with an elastic band.
“It’s not meant to look natural or believable,” Souleiman said.
