Makeup artist Karim Rahman called the look he created for the Cacharel show, “not very feminine, nothing girly.” Instead, it was about “powerful women,” he said.
Models’ lids were painted in a blue-gray-purple hue, then coated with gloss.
“It’s all about texture,” explained Rahman, adding that was true for the skin, too. Some color was added to moisturized lips, and Rahman used a bit of contour, especially around the hairline.
Hairstylist Stéphane Lancien concocted buns with some loose strands.
“When the girl walks, you can see movement in her hair,” he said, adding only hairspray was used to achieve the look, which was topped with a netted headband.
