At Alberta Ferretti, makeup artist Peter Philips kept things pretty with a “watered down version of Sixties makeup.” The makeup artist, who is creative director for makeup at Chanel, created a pale, smoky grey eye to make the look pop. Starting with a sheer wash of Chanel Ebony shadow over the eye socket, he added Chanel ivory powder — a white shimmer — along the brow bone and blended it down toward the temples. Layers of black Chanel Inimitable mascara coated the lashes and Philips used a black kohl Chanel pencil all around the lash lines. Cheeks and lips retained a young girl’s innocence with pale shades: Peachy sheer shine Chanel lipstick Phi Phi stained the cheeks and a new, yet-to-be-named sandy/beige Chanel lipstick was applied to the lips. Hairstylist Guido Palau kept things sweet with his deep side-parted, blown-out hairstyle.
