“A punk girl, quiet and androgynous,” said Sil Bruinsma, lead makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, when describing the look. Using the brand’s Pro Longwear Concealer and Pro Blot Powder Loose, Bruinsma created a flawless, natural-looking appearance. Sculpting Powder Pro Palette in Shadowy and Cream Colour Base in Pearl were blended to highlight the cheekbones, contouring and sculpting the face. Next, Eye Brows in Lingering was used to emphasize and define the brows, while still keeping them effortless. Bruinsma then smudged Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Orpheus on the upper and lower lashes, and Pro Gloss Texture over the eyelids for a glossy dimension. Eyes were finished off with Zoom Lash mascara in Zoomblack, and Face and Body foundation was dabbed onto lips.

The hair was designed to achieve a modern pompadour with a masculine edge. The structures bouffant was created with a curling iron to get a blown-back shape.

To complement the makeup, Keri Blair, nail artist for MAC Cosmetics, created a custom color, Bespoke. Blair blended Spirit of Truth and Deep Sea nail lacquers to achieve the petrol-blue matte manicure. To complete the look, she applied Nocturnelle nail lacquer to the toes for a deep, rich pedicure.
