Inspiration for hair at Catherine Malandrino revolved around a spring day in Paris, circa 1940 to 1950, with “rockabilly” flair.

Styles created by Odile Gilbert for Sebastian Professional saw volume on the top of the head, followed by a chignon and similar variations of this updo. Hair was augmented with customized Wella colored extensions to make the chignons, created by Eva Scrivo and her team of Wella Professionals colorists.

Key products included Sebastian’s Taming Elixir, a weightless smoothing crème serum; Shaper Fierce, an ultra-firm finishing spray, and Halo Mist, a silky lightweight polishing spray with UV protection.
