Sebastian Professional is known for its edgy, hair-raising image campaigns, and now the Procter & Gamble Co.-owned company is celebrating the unconventional with its “New to the Eye” fashion photography contest, which focuses on hair.

Venezuelan-born, New York-based Miguel Villalobos locked in the top Gold prize with a collection of photos in both color and black-and-white. They range from a pillow portrait of actress Tilda Swinton to images of a model sporting a seaside style, accented with shells and bird wings.
