NEW YORK — Bob Seidl, president and chief executive officer of Zotos International, is leaving the company effective Jan. 31. Seidl joined Zotos in 1999 and most notably oversaw the 2002 acquisition of Joico, created the company’s ISO hair care brand and formed the Artistic Institute, a 4,500-square-foot test salon and education center at the company’s Darien, Conn., headquarters.

Ron Krassin, the professional hair care company’s chief operating officer, will assume the role of president in addition to his current responsibilities. Krassin, who joined Zotos in October from Remington Products, will report to the company’s parent, Shiseido, in Japan. Krassin said his role will include running the company’s day-to-day operations and focusing on bringing innovative product to market.

Zotos also makes the Bain de Terre, Quantum Browns and Silk Result lines.
