The irreverent beauty brand introduced by Marcia Kilgore here last year makes its U.S. debut through the Target chain this week.
"Target and Soap & Glory are a natural fit as both offer fun, irreverent, value-oriented and well-designed shopping," said Kilgore via e-mail. "Soap & Glory is all about entertainment, and Target is committed to creating a beauty destination that inspires and delights their guests. We're on the same page and very excited about it."
The brand was inspired by British tabloids' sensationalist headlines and product names are meant to have shoppers rolling in the aisles. Its lip plumpers, for example, are dubbed Sexy Mother Pucker.
Eight products from the line, ranging in price from $2.99 to $24.99, will be sold exclusively through this year at Target doors in the U.S. The lineup includes Great Shakes Hand Cream and The Righteous Butter Body Butter, which are priced at $9.99 each. Travel sizes and gift sets also will be on offer.
Recent introductions in the U.K. include Slimwear, an anticellulite balm, and Scrub Your Nose in It, a facial scrub and mask.
