PARIS — “It’s glamorous, but at the same time minimal,” Pat McGrath said of the makeup look she create for the Yves Saint Laurent show.

McGrath gave models a burgundy lip with lots of gloss. Otherwise, faces were kept au naturel, with a nude eye sporting only some Eight Hour Cream.

Hairstylist Guido Palau crafted an inverted twist in models’ hair. He called the result “powerful” and “sophisticated” yet “minimal in approach.”

“The Saint Laurent woman is the inspiration,” he said.
