PARIS — At Akris, makeup artist Diane Kendal applied and blended a reddish-brown grease paint over a taupe-color pencil on models’ eyelids.

“The color I am using on the eye picks up the colors that they’ve used in the collection,” she said, adding peepers were given a thin black line close to the lashes to give definition, since no mascara was used. Lips were dusted with foundation and cheeks got a peach cream color

Hairstylist Guido Palau, for Redken, used the brand’s Wax Blast and Shine Flash products to help create models’ ponytails. Hair was parted on the side.
