Imagine Ursula Andress emerging from the sea, wet from the water and sparkling in the sunlight, slipping into a beautiful gown and walking straight onto the red carpet. That’s the look designer Monique Lhullier was inspired by for spring 2009.
Hair and makeup looks followed the natural, organic and shimmery mood.
Makeup, by Val Garland for MAC, made eyes the focus with gold creamy shimmer pigment, complemented by velvety salmon lips, apricot cheeks and long lashes.
Hair, which was sponsored by GHD, was styled by Eugene Souleiman, who created a windswept look by tying hair up into imperfect knots and letting hair strands flow naturally. Souleiman used GHD’s Sea Spray on roots to create volume and texture and to help him get a soft, dry look.
