PARIS — Hairstylist Sam McKnight gleaned inspiration for coifs at Balmain from photographs of Kate Moss and Daria Werbowy “looking their natural, gorgeous, rock ‘n roll, sexy selves.” He then added to the equation low-slung ponytails.

“The texture is very natural,” said McKnight. He explained no product was added to models’ hair, save for some dry shampoo when needed.

Tom Pecheux created a makeup look that was “transparent. It’s kind of the opposite of the clothes.”

Skin-toned products chosen were “creamy” and “dewy” to give highlight and contour. Pecheux used a bit of brown mascara plus a beige pencil sometime in the inside corner of eyes.
