Simplicity was the order of the day for beauty at Calvin Klein.

Guido Palau, working for Redken at the show, created a simple ponytail. After applying Redken Thickening Lotion to the hair, he smoothed it back with his hands and tied it into a low ponytail with black cord.

“I was inspired by Twiggy,” he noted.

Pat McGrath also kept things simple. “I wanted the girls to look fresh, natural and completely clean,” said McGrath. To achieve the look, she spread a hint of foundation onto the skin, followed by a liberal application of Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion in black on the top lashes only — “I wanted the lashes to be superlong and cloggy,” she said.

On the bottom, she lined the inner part of the eye with beige eye pencil. Lips got a liberal application of a new Cover Girl product coming in December, Nature Luxe lip balm, a clear formula.
