“It’s a very, very simple low ponytail,” said hairstylist Sam McKnight of the look he created for the Nicole Farhi show.

Incorporated texture into the style, McKnight first blow-dried hair using Pantene Smooth & Sleek Mousse for hold and then tonged to introduce gentle waves. He then broke up the waves by brushing hair through with his fingers before securing it in a low ponytail.

Makky, who was working with MAC Cosmetics, also took a less-is-more approach to makeup.

“The look is about beautiful [skin and] sculpting, contouring and shading,” he said. “There is makeup but the color is for sculpting. It’s very caramel.”

Makky used MAC Cream Colour Base in Sepia on eyes, cheeks and lips, while skin had a matte finish with a little highlighter on cheekbones. He also used an off-white eyeliner on the inner rim of eyes.
