Daily Concepts to Appear on HSN

Emilio Smeke, president and creator of Daily Concepts, is making his HSN debut Thursday at 7 p.m.

Smeke will be featured on a 10-minute segment that industry sources estimate could generate $10,000.

Born from the founder’s phobia of germs, Daily Concepts products are designed to inform the consumer when they need to change their shower accessories via a color-coded tag that fades with use.

In addition to the informative tag, Smeke created The 21 Challenge: If the consumer’s skin does not feel softer after 21 days, they will get their money back.

“My biggest objective for daily concepts is to deliver everyday products that are good for the environment, but might just get you thinking in the shower too,” said Smeke. “That is where I do my best work.”

The show will feature Daily Concepts’ Your Stretch Washcloth, $14, and Your Exfoliating Gloves, $16.

“We want to share with the world the unique feature of the ‘label indicator’ and how our functional packaging works,” said Smeke. “We know that [the HSN] customer was the target we wanted to reach, plus what best than direct response to explain it.”
