Eyes were intense on runways all over town, sexy and smoky in charcoal by Dick Page at Michael Kors, rock ’n’ roll and rimmed in black by Polly Osmond at Yigal Azrouël, shimmering with exaggerated lines by Tom Pecheux at Catherine Malandrino. Those who looked on the brighter side achieved drama by using color monochromatically, as in the peacock blue lids at Rebecca Taylor and the emerald accents on the outer lids at Lela Rose.
