While a stylish GROUP of guys are subtly working women’s clothes into their ensembles, “American Idol” fan-favorite Adam Lambert is showcasing a more flamboyant men’s look for masses of TV viewers. With his deep V-neck Ts, quiffed hairdos, tight-fitting leather and black nail polish, the pop singer has earned as much attention for his wardrobe choices as his warbling.
“It’s taking that little bit of opulence and flash and giving yourself permission to wear it. The tradition of the rock eccentric is definitely ready for a revival,” says Simon Doonan, Barneys New York creative director. “Just as now Lady GaGa is bringing back real glam rock for women, Adam is opening that door up for men: You can wear the python boots and the shiny jacket.”

"It's really hard sometimes. I think I have a reputation for being really tough and aggressive and pushy but I really am a very shy person who wants to be liked, and that's the conflict constantly. There's something that takes hold - I want people to like me, I don't want to be mean - but if I see something that just cries out to be answered, I go for it," says renowned NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell.
