Bobbi Brown may be best known for her practical approach to beauty, but, as her latest creations attest, the makeup artist isn’t immune to the allure of all-out luxe either. “There’s a big luxury customer out there who just wants better,” Brown says. For those ardent devotees, Brown created a pink leather train case and then filled it to overflowing with everything and anything one could need for a complete maquillage—foundation, check; lipstick, lip gloss and concealer, check; eye shadows, skin care and Brown’s signature shimmer block, check. And to celebrate Neiman Marcus’ 100th anniversary, Brown created the ultimate brush set, comprising 10 handcrafted brushes, each with ebony handles and 24-karat gold accents. Housed in a chocolate leather box with a suede interior, the brushes also come with a matching travel case. If such luxury appeals to your inner sybarite, hurry. Only 1,000 brush sets and fewer than 500 train cases have been produced globally, and even Brown herself had to sign up in advance for them. “I ordered a bunch,” she says. “They make incredible gifts.”
