NEW YORK — Avon Products said that based on early results, it expects its recently launched Avon Style line of women’s intimate and casual apparel to contribute $65 million to $75 million in sales this year.

This is significantly higher than first anticipated, the company said.

The largest contributor to the line, which is sold by Avon’s U.S. direct selling force, is The Warnaco Group, which supplies Warner’s and Fruit of the Loom foundation brands and Scaasi sleepwear. Other private label firms design the rest of the line.
