Beauty companies are laser-focused on the eye area for fall, and no wonder. For the 12 months ending in May, prestige skin care eye treatments rose 10 percent to almost $350 million. Now myriad brands are looking to ramp up the momentum with innovative products that provide both instant gratification and long-term benefits.

Clinique’s Even Better Dark Circle Corrector combines vitamin C and mulberry root to lighten the eye area over time, while patent-pending translucent optics technology instantly lessens the appearance of dark circles on all skin tones.

Smashbox is claiming a 28 percent decrease in dark circles over eight weeks with its new Photo Finish Under Eye Primer, and Lancôme’s Génefique Eye Light-Pearl Eye-Illuminating Youth Activating Concentrate features a stainless steel tear-shaped rotating applicator to massage the eye area and increase the efficacy of the serum, which is said to minimize the appearance of eye bags and increase luminosity.

Looking good, indeed.
