Main, who is senior vice president and general manager, international for Lauder’s MAC Cosmetics brand, will be succeeded in that post by Mary Renaud, who is vice president and regional director for Europe and South Africa at MAC International.
Main and Renaud are to officially assume their respective new roles Aug. 1.
Main will take a newly created position at Bobbi Brown and report to Maureen Case, president of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Worldwide.
“We’re confident Sandra has the talent and vision to oversee our brand’s rapidly growing international business,” Case said. “This includes directing aggressive overseas expansion plans, and leading the brand’s diversification in channels of distribution including freestanding stores, online and direct sales initiatives.”
Prior to joining MAC in 1995, Main worked at Harvey Nichols and Polo Ralph Lauren.
In her new post at MAC, Renaud will report to Karen Buglisi, the brand’s senior vice president and general manager of global sales, AT&D and finance forecasting.
Renaud joined MAC in 1984, when the brand’s founders, Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo, appointed her regional manager for Quebec. She has been in her current position since November 2004.
