NEW YORK — More than 440 exhibitors — 50 more than a year ago — will be showing their properties at the annual International Licensing and Merchandising Conference & Exposition, June 14-16 at the New York Hilton.
The show will recognize the increasingly global nature of licensing with the debut of an International Pavilion, designed to accommodate approximately 50 overseas licensors, looking to build their presence in the U.S. The BBC — featuring among other properties Mr. Blobby, described as the Barney of Britain, according to a show spokeswoman — will be among them.
A series of seminars will explore various facets of licensing, from sports to designer to corporate brand names.
The show, now in its 14th year, is sponsored by Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association and managed by Expocon Management Associates.
