NEW YORK — Katherine Ross has resurfaced at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
On Tuesday, the former Prada executive started at the luxury conglomerate as senior vice president of public relations and communications for its North American operations. LVMH declined to provide further details.
Most recently, Ross was senior vice president of public relations and communications at Prada USA Corp., where she worked for five years until leaving in September. Before Prada, she was the senior vice president and director of museum services for Sotheby’s North America.
In her new job, Ross will work closely with LVMH’s senior management and contribute to the luxury conglomerate’s communication strategies and marketing efforts in North America, and build its presence in the press.
Ross’ next move had been widely anticipated in fashion circles since she was rumored to be a potential candidate for the executive director post at the Council of Fashion Designers of America. That position is still vacant.
