PARIS — Benetton Group and Puig said they have signed a long-term global license agreement to create, develop and distribute new United Colors of Benetton fragrances, starting Jan. 1, 2014.
The first women’s fragrance will be created jointly for the masstige segment and sold through department stores, specialty retailers and some United Colors of Benetton flagships. No time frame was disclosed for the launch.
Parfum Holding formerly held the Benetton fragrance license.
Puig’s fragrance portfolio also includes the brands Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne, Prada, Valentino and Comme des Garçons.
