PARIS – Nine d’Urso, Inès de la Fressange’s daughter, will be the face of Bottega Veneta’s first fragrance, due out in September.

“I chose Nine to introduce this fragrance because there is something classically elegant about her, yet she is totally modern. She conveys a sense of heritage worn lightly but with respect,” stated Tomas Maier, creative director of Bottega Veneta.

Françoise Mariez, senior vice president international European marketing licenses for Coty Prestige, a division of Coty, which is Bottega Veneta’s fragrance licensee, added that d’Urso, 17, possesses, “an innate, almost aristocratic elegance, true to the brand.”

D’Urso will appear in print advertisements for the brand in a global campaign photographed by Bruce Weber.
