Cartier's first foray into fragrance dates back to the turn of the last century, when it began crafting bottles to hold perfumes. But it was nearly 100 years later—in 1981—that the company dove headfirst into the market with the launch of the Must de Cartier scent.

The green oriental women’s fragrance took its name from Cartier’s first monogrammed jewelry collections from the Seventies.
