Frédéric Malle feted the late-May launch of his latest scent, Géranium Pour Monsieur, with a soiree at Barneys New York’s Madison Avenue Penthouse last week.

The event, which was hosted by Patrick Demarchelier and his son Victor Demarchelier, included notable guests Frédéric Fekkai, Shirin von Wulffen, Gigi Mortimer, Jonathan Adler, Prosper and Martine Assouline and Amanda Ross.

Using a base of Geranium, Malle and perfumer Dominique Ropion, added notes of mint, cinnamon, clove and white musks to create the scent.

Frédéric Malle is the number-one fragrance brand at Barneys New York and is among the retailer’s top five beauty brands. Malle’s fragrances are carried exclusively at eight Barney’s doors — New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Seattle — and carried at 50 other doors globally, including three of Malle’s own boutiques in Paris.
