Usher for Women Usher’s new scent may not be quite as sexy as his abs, but the fruity floral mix is infinitely more pleasant than countless reps of crunches. ($52-$68; Macy’s) Sean John Unforgivable Woman Sean “Diddy” Combs likes to keep things hot (the ad for his men’s fragrance was so explicit many magazines banned it). His new women’s scent is true to form with a combination of rose, jasmine, neroli and a special piña colada accord. ($55-$75; Dillard’s, Macy’s) Sonia Rykiel Belle En Rykiel As sexy as one of the designer’s clingy knits, Sonia Rykiel’s newest fuses red currant with Peruvian heliotrope, frankincense, patchouli, amber and vanilla. ($50-$85; Nordstrom) Gucci by Gucci Gucci designer Frida Giannini combines exoticism (guava), earthiness (patchouli) and elegance (Tahitian tiare flower) to create a scent as modern as it is sensual. ($80-$100; Neiman Marcus, Saks) Hugo XX Hugo XX (for women) and XY (for men), two contrasting scents, can be worn separately or together. XX features lychee, basmati rice and jasmine sambac; XY has mint, basil and an aromatic green bouquet. ($49.50-$65; Dillard’s) Dolce & Gabbana The One The Italian designers are no shrinking violets—and neither is their latest fragrance, a bold concoction of sharp citrus notes, opulent florals and sexy ambery-musk notes. ($62-$82; Nordstrom, Saks) Fendi Palazzo With a bottle designed by Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi and a juice created by Dior perfumer François Demachy, Fendi’s latest was destined to be chic. Notes of orange blossom, jasmine and Bulgarian rose laced with patchouli and gaiac wood don’t disappoint. ($64-$85; Bloomingdale’s) Emporio Armani Diamonds When superstar Beyoncé is your spokeswoman, your fragrance better be hot. Diamonds—a gourmand floral with lychee, raspberry, rose and freesia—delivers. ($39.50-$69.50; Bloomingdale’s, Saks) Bijan Nude Created as an homage to all things provocative and evocative, white rose petals, summer lilac, ylang-ylang and muget are blended with vetiver, musk and cedar.
